Cash Money, thank you for your reply. I think you are right about ecommerce over the net taking off in a big way. I had to laugh at what you said about bid.com (haven't checked their site yet). You just have to shake your head in disbelief at what's going on with these internet stocks. I think it was the piece in the National Post I was reading, where the columnist was saying Amazon or Yahoo, I don't remember, had a market cap of billions of dollars - more than Sears and a bunch of other companies that had been in business for years, combined - and they weren't even making any money!! I have another stock in a company called IVI Checkmate, which is making record profits, making great products in a huge growth market (debit card readers, point of sale systems), and the stock just sits in the swamp!! How can one make rational investing decisions in this kind of climate? I read another columnist saying "You'd be crazy to invest in this kind of market...and you'd be crazy not to!" Who knows, maybe I'll buy some VNE tomorrow :) Where are you located, by the way? I'm in Guelph, Ontario.
