I have read all the responces, there must be a class action suit going on somewhere against Etrade. I have been with them almost a year and I have had problems logging on, and getting through busy singnals and getting trade executions on time. I recamend that no body use them, they are very screwed up.
The last problem was last thursday. i bought into MKII 2 days befor it did a reverse split 1-100 and a name change. well I thought that the next day there will be a massive sell off at the bell. When I got on line I put the new symbol in MKIID and Etrade could not find it. So I got off line and called their line was busy. Its 6:32 and I am getting frantic, 5k going down the drain will freek you if you cannot do anything about saving it. Finlly after 40 minutes of trying all their number I get hold of them. The guy who answered took down all my info and said he cant find it and would have to go to Bloomberg and see what was happening. 10 minutes later waiting on line he gets back to me and tells me they had a 1-50 reverse split and a name change, hell I already told him that.
So I asked what is the bid and ask, he said hold and I will get a broker, well folks if he were in front of me I could have choked him to death, I said Goddamn it man what the fuck are you doing on this brokers line, he left the line and the phone went dead. I was so beside my self I could have just exsploded. I called again and it was busy (UNBELIEVABLE) I kept calling finally a guy answers again some one different, I asked this guy if he was a broker, he said he was. So what is the bid and ask of MKIID, he couldnt find it and had to gp to Bloomberg, he came back in exactly 7 minutes. The bid was according to him 1/8 by .25, I was totally broke, and he said the volume was 200k and that most of that was sold at an .25, I said at .25 whats up with that. he said what do you want to do, I told him to sell at .25. Well folks, when I got back on line the symbpl was up and the prive was .25 and $3. and the volume was 2000.
Guess who sold, ME. I was the only person who sold. They totally fucked me out of my money. I am in despute but I think Im just FUCKED. Im sorry for the language but Etrade is just no good and this wasn't the first time.
By the way I have been using their Pulse since November and it is'nt worth the money you will lose with their company... |
