here's an interesting tidbit... biz.yahoo.com REITs are interesting animals...they are not like your usual corp with double taxation...they don't pay taxes and all the earnings have to be passed on to the shareholders...so this ruling kinda looks to me a reit could have a tax advantage for tariffs too...and my reit dividends collect inside my IRA so I don't worry about taxes on those either. Hmmm....
