"The book value does not drive a stock price."

This is generally true. Realistically though, if a stock is selling for .03 per share and the book value is .50, which was the situation last year when I bought in, I suggest that to ignore the book value is to pretty much have your head in a dark, tight, smelly place. Unless one is aware of some other overriding consideration, this is the situation that value investors spend days and weeks looking for.
