No there are not too many fools like myself who expect a near zero value a stock when holding a short position. I think there are different fools who short at any given time. It is just that the number stays about the same. That is okay too, brokers need to eat and the shorts provide them bread.
Is the INS deal gone and lost forever? I thought IDX was on some sort of a list that automatically got the new purchases. Was I dreaming? If governmental agencies are obligated to take the lowest bid should we expect something similar when the FAA decides on biometrics?
Does anybody know what recourse the GSA or INS have in case DBII doesn't pan out as bid?
I heard one very encouraging comment. We have a collection account with a title insurance firm in Lake County CA. The lady said that the bank there was talking about using thumb prints to identify people. I about jumped out of seat. This is the B of A we are talking about friends. Lake County is a very poor county and they have a high level of bad checks no doubt. Many transactions there are either cash or barter.
