Dougr, Well, I'm glad to see this thread finally getting back around to really important stuff like golf. Maybe some of the southerners won't get it but it really doesn't take that much snow to elevate cabin fever to a critical condition, and we had several years worth in just the first two weeks of January. So, whose got the local knowledge and ambition to organize the Sunday outing? I've got the day slated for golf with the gang, but obviously don't have any plans yet. Having never been to Disney before I did make plans for later in the week though. I made tee times for 1, probably got paired with a twosome so there may be room for another. Of course, my tee times could still be changed too. 19th hole rendezvous would also be fun, for anyone with similar tee times. Any, as it stands now, I have Monday 10:20 on Magnolia, Wednesday 10:00 on Osprey Ridge, and Friday 10:28 on Palm. If anyone wants to try to join up, call Disney's Master Starter at 407-939-4653, Ext. 2. Tuesday and Thursday are open but I've got to do the parks sometime. See ya in Orlando, Alski PS. I have a golf course guide book that makes it abundantly clear that these are tough courses, but some of the best in North America. I'm expecting to at least be humbled, if not humiliated. And, if you call, you might want to be sitting down when they tell you the green fees. Each of those rounds is going to cost about half a seminar. But hay, you only get one chance at life, right? At least that's the assumption I'm working on ‘till I found out otherwise <G>. |
