He is talking about shifting the MA back 1/2 of the periods, horizonally. He says a number of things but the pyschology is his expertise. A centered MA tracks nearly on top of price if you used a 21 day, you would see no lines for last ten days. Write him and ask how you would use it, for entry/exit.

I shift mine to the right.
