When I did options, my broker always told me not to exercise them, just to take the money.

I was buying naked call and put options though. So, to reiterate for benefit of others, I was buying and not selling.

Have to think about selling puts.. Cuz I agree with Paul that if Sun falls below 90, it's a steal for the long-term investor.

[oh yeah...one bad thing COULD happen to you...the stock you have to buy at say 100, goes to 50...anything is possible...but even if that did ocurr, so you'll have to sit with SUNW till it rallied back...so what!!!!!!!

Jerry, when U buy options, U still have to pay brokerage fees. How much do they usually run?

U use discount broker I'm sure. Which one?

I agree with U about buying "quality" stock for options......
