One of the newsletters I read recently recommended Latitude. I thought I would share with the thread an advertisement that appeared in the WSJ.

WGC ( World Gold Council) advertisement in the Wall Street Journal on 22 January 1999

"Eu sabia que devia ter comprado ouro." (I know I should have bought gold.)

First the Thai baht, then the Indonesian rupiah, then the South Korean won, then the Russian ruble... now as Brazil becomes the largest market to take a hit, gold looks better than ever. Smart investors know they should keep a portion ot their portfolios in gold, an asset class that retains its value over time.

A portfolio without gold is no longer a luxury you can afford.
