I think everyone is expecting something about CPQ's internet plans, or clarification on the AltaVista rumors, either at the announcement or the following Friday in the analyst briefing. That should be pretty upbeat.

I have heard that the European labor rules are a lot different than in the US, and all kinds of impact statements and reeducation plans need to be submitted. I don't know the details, but this was predicted at the time of the merger announcement. This is true for any company's European operations.
