agio,

I am very surprised that your ISP told you that. I have Earthlink on my phone line and I don't think that the ISP has anything to do with a dual monitor set up. The shared modem also has nothing to do with dual monitors. You need operating system like Win 98, a video card and of course a slot to plug it into and the second monitor. You will not get the same thing on the second monitor. Its like a really big screen and you just move stuff from the first screen to the second.

This is NOT a network and I think you were getting a bunch of baloney.

I got a 16 meg card for $126 and it works great.

Dont get the ISDN line if cable ISP will be available so soon. But you can set up the dual monitors right now.
