Well i must admit that i was dead wrong with my NOVL analysis
in the short term. My technical evaluation had indicated a
slow retreat back to single digits (where i had an order at 9.25),
then suddenly a surge in volume and the price hits 12.75.
The surge in volume and price IMO is not totally related to
the "Rock the Net" ad, or conf. in Switz.., but likely to possible
CEO announcement within th next few days, or the takeover that has been rumoured for so long.
28M shares traded the last 2 days surely means more than a technical bounce, but what. I still think that an ORCL, or maybe even SUNW deal
is in the works. Then again perhps a few big institutions see
genuine value here and are gobbling it up big time.
As a disgruntled NOVL holder who thought it was headed much lower
i must admit i was wrong and should have listened to the likes of
Eric, Joe, Salah, etc.
Next wekk should be even more interesting especially if volume
continues to be heavy.
