Hello Rick, Earnings are due out anytime now. I do not see anything specific to account for the move today so, it may just be in anticipation of good earnings. Boehringer Ingelheim recently made a payment to IDEC of undisclosed size and milestone payments can be expected from SmithKline this time around as well. Last quarter was eventful for IDEC and it may be the market expects earnings to reflect this fact. It is also possible that earnings may include statements as to the status of the NDA. Anticipation of such a remark soon may have played a factor in today's move as well. It is interesting to note the rather unremarkable performance of Coulter's IPO. I bought an additional group of IDPH shares yesterday based on this thinking. Perhaps Brad will weigh-in with some insight on this one. I have not been able to find anything specific.
