(BSNS WIRE) Integral Adds Former Chief of U.S. Congressional Budget Liai
Integral Adds Former Chief of U.S. Congressional Budget Liaison Office to Its
Board of Advisors

Business Editors, High-Tech Writers

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 1999--
Integral Technologies, Inc. ("INTEGRAL"), (OTC BB:ITKG), today
announces the appointment of Mr. Charles Feldmayer to the company's
Board of Advisors.
Feldmayer is a retired U.S. Army Colonel having completed a wide
variety of assignments during his military career of over thirty
years. Feldmayer's last five years of service were spent at the
Pentagon as the Chief of the Congressional Budget Liaison Office,
where he was responsible for liaison with the House and Senate
Appropriations Committees.
Feldmayer will focus his primary efforts on INTEGRAL'S antenna
subsidiary Emergent Technologies Corp. ("EMERGENT") which holds an
exclusive license from West Virginia University on all worldwide
government and military applications of the Contrawound Toroidal
Helical Antenna ("CTHA"). The CTHA is a new, patented antenna
technology with broad applicability in the mobile wireless
communications industry. EMERGENT develops and continues with ongoing
research for the CTHA. Feldmayer will assist EMERGENT in identifying
funding sources and applications for the CTHA, within all sectors of
the U.S. Military. Feldmayer will also assist EMERGENT in the
completion of various research and development and production
contracts, currently in progress at EMERGENT on behalf of various U.S.
government agencies.
Since his retirement from the U.S. Military, Feldmayer has
achieved success in assisting companies with new technologies or
products, to secure research and development funding and procurement
contracts, from U.S. government agencies. Feldmayer advises clients on
business development strategies, including the formulation of
comprehensive legislative strategies so as to benefit the client's
interest in both commercial and government sectors. He also provides
clients in the defense industry with government affairs and business
development support. Feldmayer identifies business opportunities by
helping clients to match defense department needs with their technical
solutions.
During his tenure at the Pentagon, Feldmayer assisted in
developing successful strategies for justifying a $64 billion budget
before the U.S. Congress. His efforts in the development and execution
of these strategies resulted in $2 to $3 billion annual increases over
the president's budget. Feldmayer's focus was on Army procurement,
research and development, operations, personnel and military
construction issues. Prior to his work with the Congressional Budget
Liaison Office, he served in the Army Budget Office as the Deputy
Director of Investments for the U.S. Army and was responsible
for providing budget and program management oversight army-wide, for
all procurement research and development and construction efforts. He
is a recognized expert on the acquisition and budget process of the
U.S. federal government.
Mr. Jack Parsons, who had a long career with the U.S. Military
and has been the president of EMERGENT since its inception, said," Mr.
Feldmayer's assistance will prove invaluable to EMERGENT in its goal
to see the CTHA form a critical component of the wireless
communication infrastructure within the U.S. Military. The utilization
of wireless communication devices will empower military personnel
through the provision of more timely and accurate information." He
continued, "It is my opinion that the result would be a higher level
of safety for military personnel and more effective military action."
Upon the completion of his due diligence of INTEGRAL'S two other
technologies, the Plasma Ignition System and the Counterfeit Currency
Detection System, it is anticipated that Feldmayer will introduce
these two technologies to certain U.S. government agencies.
The Plasma Ignition System has been acquired by INTEGRAL through
a license agreement from West Virginia University. It is a new
patented ignition system for internal combustion engines, adaptable to
virtually any existing internal combustion engine. It produces a
larger "spark" area than conventional spark plugs, so it burns fuel
more efficiently and is more effective at ignition lean-burn mixtures.
Environmental agencies would potentially see a benefit to this
technology as it reduces pollution and improves fuel-efficiency. This
system is ideal for use in automobiles or any another device, which
requires an ignition source.
The Counterfeit Currency Detection System has also been acquired
by INTEGRAL through a license agreement from West Virginia University.
It is a device, which will create a new category of counterfeit
detection by employing spectral analysis of the bill and sophisticated
numerical algorithms. As a digital device -- unlike all predecessors
-- the system can be programmed to scan and validate printed
documents, including currencies, passports, tickets, and other secure
or valuable documents. The entire device can be produced in a package
roughly the size of a credit card swipe unit. Scan rates of up to 1
per second have been achieved in early prototypes; speeds of 10 per
second are thought possible this year. The unit is a combination of
generic hardware (mini-lasers and computer processors) and proprietary
software.

Integral, which is not presently a "reporting" company, intends
to file its Form 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission as
soon as practical following the completion of the company's audited
financials. The reader is advised that this release contains forward
looking statements of the company and a variety of factors could cause
the company's actual results and experience to differ materially from
the anticipated results or expectations expressed. Additional
information regarding those factors is available upon request.
