Don't confuse him with facts. Let him live the dream as long as he can. Clik! has been and will continue to be his worst gaffe yet. And while we're on the subject of foot-in-mouth disease, I read another great Dan Quayle quote the other day, an old one, to be sure, but one I hadn't heard before. Talking in Samoa as VP in 1989 he told an audience: You are all like happy campers to me. Happy campers you are.... And as far as I'm concerned, happy campers you will always be. Sounds just like the vacuous statements made by the unmentionable one about IOMeggers, eh? Perhaps he's related. Rock Quayle.
