I believe it will become a 2 horse race = ATHM & AOL
Robert, after posting this to the MSFT board, I thought it might be of interest to this board. I have @home, like it, used to have AOL. If I am reading the SI boards, it really isn't much faster than AOL, IMO. Slow servers on the net negate it's speed in normal use. It's big weapon is download speed, but I download very little.
This is a marketing war right now, not a technical one, and, IMO, ATHM isn't even on AOL's racetrack yet, much less in the race. |
