That's AMD all right...always the follower, NEVER the leader.

Lets see-

3D NOW came before KNI
K6 architecture is more sophisticated than the PII architecture.
K7 architecture is far more sophisticated than PIII architecture.

Intel hasn't had a good new idea in years.
1. Clipper II is headed for a shipwreck.
2. KNI is coming out the same year as all the hardware geometry engines from graphics vendors, making it a don't care.
3. Rambus is not needed on the motherboard.
4. Nobody will care about software DVD in a few months.

Intel is missing on all four cylinders these days.
