How about constructing a list of points that we'd like the company to address at the meeting? Suggested topics:
1. Current financial status (even though the next 10Q is likely to be filed a week after the meeting, on the 11th, if VLNC holds true to form)
2. Production status and safety testing status of the first line
3. Production status of the 2,3,4th lines
4. Formats selected for the cells produced by each line; and the various configurations being considered by OEMs to construct batteries from the cells provided by VLNC.
5. Current technology being employed for the batteries being produced: chemistry, performance characteristics, etc.
6. Explanation of the point at which they would announce contracts; i.e., if initial 'contract' is only 'intent to purchase' subject to passing the tests (being performed by the repackagers?), then is it true that this 'contract' would not itself be 'pre-announced?' Rather, does the company intend to wait until customer accepts the product off the line, so that increased production, shipping, and booking revenue will happen within very short time frame of each other? (This seems to have been the conjecture put forth in Jacques' post) And won't company be legally required to announce those events within a timely period, since they are 'material?'
5. Joint venture status (though Lev usually has no comment)
6. Details of additional equipment on order
7. Explanation of the nature and status of the ongoing litigation
