eapod Opens Consumer Direct Center In Chicago Suburb >PPOD

SKOKIE, Ill. (Dow Jones)--Peapod Inc. (PPOD) opened and initiated
service from its consumer direct center in suburban Chicago.
In a press release Monday, the Internet grocer said it is consolidating
its fulfillment operations from 12 sites throughout the metropolitan
area into a single 70,000-square-foot facility.
The facility is expected to service about $30 million in annual
Internet grocery volume after consolidation.
