SKU's again

I've asked this before to no response, but because it has potentially important mindshare implications I'll ask it again: will PC Data and other research organizations treat the new 5-flavored iMac as 5 separate models, especially since they each have their own SKU?

If that's the case, the iMac position as a top-five model is likely to disintegrate. That would not only make it harder to track iMac popularity from month to month, it would also take away some of the aura of popularity that surrounds the iMac.
