Details, details, that just makes my point that something irrelevant was brought up and paraded around like the crime of the century. They should have considered her on her merits and gone ahead and procecuted her for her transgression in a separate action.

The Radicals always look for some obscure part of the issue that is more or less unique to the individual that they are attacking. Then they play that difference as the most important and egregious fault. One of the tennents of common law is that if a crime is habitually ignored, then it is unfair to suddenly apply to a specific individual.
