On display will be three new products including Multi-Media Routers, Communication Servers and Front End Processor for IBM networks. The advanced Routers where developed using FastComm's new Interoperability Platform Operating System (IPOS™) architecture.
The IPOS™ software operating system provides a flexible open routing platform that reduces the network complexities of multi-media integration through common path management. This new routing architecture provides cross platform integration of Voice, Video and Data with emphasis on quality of service (QoS) and priority resource delivery.
With the added benefit of Open Modular Implementation (OMI™) software, protocol modules can be loaded on a per unit basis, which optimizes seamless customization for applications on a site by site basis. This unique adaptability for multi-protocol support and bandwidth-shaping are greatly enhance with integrated Switched Virtual Circuit (SVC) Modules creating transparent access for local, regional and global networks.
