UNFY - the last of the web application server companies has been active lately.
As other companies in the same business have been acquired:

Kiva by NSCP for 168 million
Webshpere by IBM
Weblogics by BEAS 192 million
Net Dynamics by SUN 180 milion

UNFY @12.00 has a market cap of 101 million so there is still some premium if it goes at a price like the others. Maybe $19-22 based on 168-192 million dollar previous take out prices of competitors. Based on UNFY's 8.47 million shares outstanding. I think it will be a good position trade over the next couple of months. If they go it alone, it has a good business, earnings have been accelerating. So the risk to the downside vs potential reward is favorable. I think Herb Greenberg featured this company back in December on CNBC and it ran, fell back a bit but has remained strong.

Any thoughts out there + or - ?
