The TNT 2 should be out fairly soon also. That is a 0.25 um design rule version of the current TNT chip set (which is 0.35 um). This should be significantly faster, cooler, and a smaller chip size (which translates to lower cost). I think it uses AGP 4x interface also.

As far as video editing goes, I haven't heard of anything from Nvidia about that. The ATI Rage 128(?) that is just coming out has built in MPEG 2 decoder in hardware, which is related. I'm hoping we see that in future versions of the TNT chip set.

By the way, most of the lawsuits are B.S. The 3DFX lawsuit is about the twin texturing part of the chip, and EVERY new chip that is coming out has twin texturing engines (ATI, and SAVAGE 3D chipsets to name a few). I guess 3DFX thinks they have the patent on parallel processing also?
