The software company love this Idea, it will take a while for people to get used to it. Other countries took so much advantage of our system, no more free bee from mow. No ID no Honey."... You really don't understand how Americans think. They will simple avoid programs that require the ID. Those programs without it will gain market share. If Microsoft tries it, they will simply get sued for monopolistic practices. Americans (at least the last bunch of them that don't enjoy being controlled by Clinton and the press), value their freedom.
