actually internet stocks are pretty good in a deflationary world. they have no inventory and little overhead. dell can buy components only as needed (dell is a kind of internet company) In fact it could be the model for internet merchandising.
oil and precious metals suffer, of course. so would auto makers, i would guess.
but deflation is not the same as depression. people can remain at work and prosper in deflationary times.
you just dont want to be in a business that requires you to hold an inventory of things that are deflating.
