I should have said there is not necessarily high unemployment during deflation as there was during the Depression or the inflationary recession of 1970s amd 1981-1983. Deflations can be times of prosperity as a new book with the title "Deflation" points out. But what of internet stocks; are they well suited to this environment? Would AMZN do better than Barnes and Noble?
