Hello Shalom; I se you are still keeping the wick trimmed and a sufficient supply of oil. I have been researching the Word concerning who is Israel and who is not. I felt unsure of how to answer you concerning your questions in this area. I have came to the conclusion that the promise of the land to Abraham and his bloodline through Jacob will be the inheritors of the promise if and only these Jews become believers in Christ. This will be the remnant that is referred to. The current political leaders of Israel would probably known as the Chief Priests and Pharisees of our day. See Romans 2:28-29, Mat. 21:43. Due to the worlwide dispersion of the Jews in 70 AD it would seem to me that only Christ would know exactly who this remnant is. What are your thoughts? However, in our present age of grace, God recognizes no distinctions. He is not blessing or cursing based on what nation you are in, but rather whether or not you are in Christ. Have a great day.
