Paul no one can ever time the market or a stock. It is impossible. That why most of the short sellers (or at least institutional sellers) never keep themselfs open. If I am to short intel I would most likely seek some sort of protection against worst case of scenario. And I illustarted the most common strategy that is used in case when two companies are in the same business and investor favors one company over another as in DRBES case. I believe DRBES mentioned intel as being screaming short in context of comparing two companies so the strategy is very appropriate. I do not believe DRBES ever posts for the sole purpose as to rub it in. My personal opinion that it is a screaming short as well -- please, do not take it as any sort of recomendation. If you remeber correctly our argument started when Jack and few others suggested that amd might be a good buy in teens and we got less than a polite reponse from you. Well, so far we are right. We might be right about intel as well. ps I have an advanced degree as you have put if you are so curious. I know some of the mit professors as well. Maybe I should check your grades. Or maube you want to compare mine(degree) aginst yours. Just for bringing it up I give you an honorary phd in stupidity
