I still have a hard time buying these OTCBB things... Every weekend, I have to bring in a wheelbarrow and empty my email boxes of all the OTCBB spam. This weekend, I received a bazillion emails regarding two OTCBB issues that "were going to run through the roof", news was coming out etc... All I had to do was buy these things this morning at the open. Had I bought these two "issues" this morning, I would have lost a truckload of money today. Now, there is no doubt that the PNLK news was great, but my problem with the OTCBB is:
1. Execution. When and where is my order gonna get filled, both in and out? With NASDAQ issues my execution time is instantaneous to a few seconds even with PCNA last week.
2. I know virtually every scammer on SI. A few of them have posted on this thread. Some of these scammers control enough money to tank these OTCBB stocks. One scammer I know trades pennies on the OTCBB with a half a million dollars! This individual gets richer by the day. Another individual concocts "news stories" and spreads them around SI, Yahoo etc after taking a large position in a penny stock then sells into the buying. I saw this character run a sub penny to .24 in a few weeks once. He sold a million shares during the runup. A number of these scammers are well connected to insiders and brokers. One scammer is a broker and former MM who is well connected with many OTCBB issues and other scammers on the OTCBB. Several of these OTCBB issues have their own posters on SI. These guys and gals spam everyone with email and the chat boards then sell into the buying. They do it over and over again.

I have lots of other war stories from my OTCBB days as well.

In summary, the OTCBB is a murky underworld that has two kinds:
Scammers and losers.
