In response to your question about rumors I can only respond by saying that I have had stock in this company for some time and that the last time I heard rumors of any significance the stock went to $9.50. There are a number of factors which seem to reinforce my speculation. 1.The company appears to have created a significant breakthrough with their technology in improving detection and reducing the question of risk for women undergoing Mammography. News articles would seem to bear this out as women who have taken part in the clinical trials indicate that for them, this is a pleasant and positive experience when compared to traditional technology. If you can please 50% of the population (namely women) who need Mammography you have created a significant service to society and a great asset for the company. 2.The fact that the FDA have allowed them to initiate clinical trial and that they recently raised $4.5 Ml in private financing is a strong indication that this is a valid technology and one that bears serious consideration by those large organizations that provide diagnostic imaging technology. (GE being but one) A company with such a valuable asset cannot be overlooked by the bigfish in the industry. 3.Any time this company has gotten media exposure there has been a significant positive reaction to the stock, even though there is no earnings as yet and therefore no basis for objective analysis the emotional response to the company's objective is strong.Check out the levels that some tech stock's currently enjoy without the benefit of clear profits. in fact many are reporting losses through growth and expansion. This is all based on a positive perception of the company's objective. Those are my three reasons why I see the possibility of major activity around this company. When looked at from this perspective the current stock price is way undervalued and if I can figure that out so can someone who is in a position to take major advantage of it. Good luck: M Reilly
