I sold covered calls in Germany, DJ... while I had an account with Direktanlage-Bank (using a Pershing-account), I sold calls covered by calls with better strike and same or later expiration. There was no additional cash needed for resolving the contracts when the trades were executed on the same day. I made similar trades later with Dreyfus - in my understanding the best broker for options. Happy trading! Jury
