Actually I'll be doing the trout thing with an ultralight. Got a little rig that is rated for 4 pound test and I toss little spoons a country mile. Barbless spoons of course. However if someone isn't having any luck I let them use my rig.

I watched a kid catch some 'bows last year with a spoon and a coke can as a reel. Spin the line like a rodeo roper and toss it. It was really neat.
