I just found it interesting that one of the first journalists to write about Y2K in the mainstream media is now saying it's all hype and everything will be fine.

BTW, I went back to search for the link I posted at the time of the first article by this writer. Looking at some of the posts from back then (when almost NO money was changing hands to fix the problem), there are some wild prices mentioned (VIAS in the 60's, DDIM in the 40's).

Perception counts for a lot in the market, wouldn't you agree?
