Just heard that the motion to dismiss will be debated in a closed session and is not open to the public. I hope that it will be defeated 45-55 on a purely partisan vote.

The motion on whether to call witnesses is slated for tomorrow. I hope that it passes. It is in the Democrats' interests that this circus goes on and on and on for as long as possible.

As things stand now, we still are at a stage where the headlines simply read, "Public wants the trial to end". We are yet to go through a few more stages of public revulsion over this -- "Public wants the NIGHTMARE to end", and, "Public PRAYING for the NIGHTMARE to end" and so on :-) It'll take another 4 or 5 months for things to get there.
