It seems to me you weren't on the conference call or at least not the same call as I was on. So it seems you an "outsider" looking "inside".

Some noteable comments from the call:

Net cash burn for the Q dispite all the charges net 9 million
currents assets 325 million
net cash 120 million

As a result of the Intel deal, S3 is the only company with .18 mircon 32bit 4x AGP called Savage4. A major competitive factor that should ensure a return to profitablity by second 1/2 of 1999.

S3 is expecting, no out right saying they have major OEM wins in both the desktop and for new mobil products as well as with add in card vendors.

TDFX/STBI deal push the other Top add in cards maker into S3 arms.

More analyists on this year than in several years, so many S3 stopped taking questions, out of time.

Ken & Walt very up beat, if its all in the call as the say S3 should do very well.
