Red - the truth of the matter of course is that area plays do work - the trick is I guess to know when to sell (half on a double if lucky) - it this thing is as big as some of you hope, and speculate, of course there will be an area play, even if it isn't as big - I don't know what worries you Red - there's plenty of speculative money to go round! I made my first real killing in the market in the Hemlo play - first by buying the main players and then selling after tripling my money in 5 weeks and then buying the area play stocks and getting a double - the year was 1983, and it can happen again - there is a lot of hot money around in this market, hell ICA was up over 40% today (when I last checked) just because it said on the weekend it was 'going to make deals' in the area - but as far as I know it doesn't have any claims of its own - if that isn't an area play what is? dd
