But the indicator requires plotting, you can't add custom plots to the QP chart. It is more of a plot than an indicator. There are a number of attempts to identify a formation by formula. I have never used them. Patterns are in the eye of the beholder, numbers are in our database.

Even if you could plot it, it is based on movements of a set percent. You run into false depiction dependant on setting for each stock. QP2 virtual provides transfer with ease. Filter your stocks as to what you will trade then move them over. While there is a slowness to MSWIN, it performs well as a charting program. you are wanting charts to observe, I would cut those down to a minimum, there are just so many hours during the day.

I bet you have read Edwards and mcgee. Patterns, candlesticks, and P&F are good confirmers, but I would trade off them.
