Re: Shareholder Equity

Seems like some of the line items on the balance sheet you posted got lost or slipped onto the wrong line. The way I read it, shareholder equity is a negative $(5.0) million or so. For a complete balance sheet see:

go2net.newsalert.com

On the Yahoo board there is a posting suggesting that Plaintree might be bought out for $20 - 30 million. If the buyer gets the receivables and inventory, there will be little or nothing left for common shareholders, as they come after $6 million in debt and $16 million in preferred. It all depends on how the deal is structured, I suppose. If the "intangibles" (tax losses and engineering) are worth $20-30 million, and current assets pay off some of the liabilities, there may be a little more left, but under $1 per share, it seems to me.

Charlie.
