Newbies.. I'd just like to make a very brief point. (All IMHO)
Characters like SW appear and disappear. YAHOO has a constant swirl of them. SI gets carpet-bagged by them seasonally. Often they speak in the royal "we." "Who are those guys?"
If you want a list of stocks that have been PnD'd by types such as SW, I am sure every old timer on SI could furnish you with a list of at least 10.
This SW guy(s) just has a different twist... you selected the stocks for "them" or so they say,

Around here a used car dealer, Cal Worthington often said on TV that he'd "eat a bug" if you could find a better deal.
Before you open your portfolio and buy/sell/sell short, do some real dd (you know, self-initiated work and thinking) and leave threads like this for sheer entertainment value.
IMHO what's not entertaining is that these guys are very serious men... and if you play, you'll pay... make no mistake, there is no smile behind those eyes.
Ask those people who were on the RECY thread, "RECY for the long term." Check out the chart, check out the thread, it was a long term play (maybe two years)...made someone a lot of money...but not those newbie and little guy thread-sters.
If you like hype you're in the right place, but remember, it ain't free... but for you clear-eyed types, its a lab on the human personality, no?
