SW -- William raises some valuable questions about WAVX -- but the patents WAVX holds have incredible potential -- It is clear that HP has taken to WAVX tech -- and the sign posts are all pointing to INTEL eventually (and perhaps sooner than people think) adopting WAVX tech as well -- developments in bringing this tech to market are moving extremely fast right now -- witness HP's announcements about its VerSecure system which uses WAVX -- at the RSA conference in San Jose on Jan 20. HP kept mentioning WAVX. Intel has announced it is working with RSA --- and of Course WAVX is an RSA partner. Now there are two things to remember INTEL announced the code number idea for its Pentium III at the RSA conference -- and the privacy groups came out of the woodwork calling for a boycott of all INTEL products -- but at that same conference INTEL announced its number one goal of "One Billion Trusted PC's") interesting language seeing as WAVX's Embassy chip and software is called "Trusted Client technology". HP VerSecure has received approval from US department of Commerce to export the encryption technology and 17 other nations have approved it as well (representing 80 of the PC/internet market. The next step will be an OEM annoucing that they are going to ship WAVX tech in all new machines -- if that happens -- and most do not think its a very big if WAVX will move up a lot more than it did today -- and many think the OEM will be HP. Now if other OEM's follow suit (IBM would be a possibility) then WAVX just continues up -- and remember the goal -- One Billion Trusted PC's -- now if WAVX is at 5 when it hasn't produced a singel chip for market -- and it moves two points as people just let the above sink in -- what do we think this little gem will do when the first OEM says "I want that chip" and the next one, and the next OEM, and the Next OEM.......even it it only captures 20% of the 1 billion (and right now there is no other chip on the horizon so this may be conservative) but a company that goes from zero to 200,000,000 chips ought to be worth a hell of a lot more than $7. Now that's just from shipping the tech -- but how WAVX makes money on the tech after its in the market -- is where another boat load of revenue will be -- but that's for another post --- this one is too long already -- and then there is the digital broadcast patent -- that may be WAVX's most profitalbe patent -- and of course there could always be TrustedClient.com (WAVX owns the domain name) -- yes there is risk in this investment -- but this is not a short term lets take it to 10 and dump it stock -- this is a long term hold for anyone who understands how this technology will radically change the current structure of things. BTW I have never had a problem with people taking profits and you can't blame someone for selling a near double. I just want to make my position clear that there is a realistic chance WAVX could be in triple digits for those who elect to hold it for a while. Me I am buying every share I can get my hands on -- and intend to ride WAVX till it proves me wrong -- or makes me......well you know <g>
