If you are running low on IRQ's or slots, suggest you try an add-on card. For example, I added a Turbocom serial card in my ISA slot that gives me two high-speed serial ports which are connected to an ISDN connection AND a 56k connection. If you previously had a PCI internal modem, this can free up a slot. Added card has options built-in to avoid any IRQ conflicts. Card only costs $100 and is much cheaper than monitor.
