FWIW, I have noted Zeev's posts on another thread several months earlier, the Gatefield thread (GATE), and while I was generally on the opposite side of the discussion with him(I was bullish and he was bearish), he was certainly more on the money than I was. GATE suffered through a floorless convertible that still penalizes the company despite meeting most, if not all, of the targets of their business plan and having a supposed "high quality" vc as an investor.
I don't think he is 'ol DG at all, or anything like him - Z's posts have thought and are generally constructive. And while I do not think that Valence has the financial risk he sees, this is perhaps because I am aware of some financial institutions that are quite eager to finance the company's future.
Zeev has characterized himself on more than one occasion on more than one thread as a "bottom fishing turnip farmer", or something to that effect, and though he, like all of us, would like to buy low and sell, he certainly can't be said to have the obsessive agenda that DG has. IMO. |
