Richard Karpel, You have very little confidence in Wind River for someone who has held shares in it for the past 3 years. I would have expected that you would understand the business and your investment. It should be no surprise to you that the stock can actually go down in price. There have been at least 3 major sell-offs since you started investing in WIND. The stock recovered after each sell-off.
There is no reason to expect that this time will be any different.

I hope that you made a profit on the shares that you sold today. You may have left a lot of money on the table by selling so soon after the sell-off. Did you know that only 400K shares trading in 15 minutes from 1:05 to 1:20PM on Friday caused the share price to drop from $47 to $30? The trading support since then has been very strong.

The market has been able to absorb all of the shares that stampeding sellers could deliver, without further price deterioration. Since 1:30 Friday, the share price has risen nearly $5.00 on about 13 million shares traded. This trading volume represents more than an average month's worth in little more than one day. What does this tell you? It means that there is considerable demand for the shares. When the panic dissipates, it is probable that the recovery can continue.

I think that you are spending too much time trying to fix blame on others and not enough time looking at your own investment style. I gather from what you have told me, that your investment in WIND was far in excess of your comfort zone. You need to make investments that you can live with; not ones that are going to cause you anxiety and give you ulcers. If you don't understand the basket, don't put so may eggs in it. Understanding is strictly a do-it-yourself project. You have to do the spade work. Nobody can do it for you. You may occasionally get lucky but, until you come to terms with this, you will be stuck time and time again.

I agree that Allen Benn needs no defense against your baseless accusations. My intention was to point out to you why I disagree with your methodology and your views.

Now quit your bitchin' and go make some money.

Frank
