Company exists to maximize its profit. If a company can maximize its profit , but did not do it, then it is stupid. However , since no company is stupid, so there must be some reason to force the company to lower the price of its product, the reason is the competition. If Microsoft has to sell its OS with lower price to maintain its market, that means there are potential competitors out there which will eat Microsoft's market shares , which also means if Microsoft sell its product with a certain higher price ,
it will trigger the consumers to buy other product, which will replace Microsoft's product, which also means the consumers have other choice , and it is also means
there are competitors out there who are ready to replace Microsoft, which also means
Microsoft has no monopoly power of the market, and Microsoft can not be an exception , and is also driven by the force of the market.

IT IS JUST PURE LOGIC !!!!!! I DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU CAN"T NOT UNDERSTAND SUCH SIMPLE LOGIC...
