What is this stuff? Someone knows a number of ASND's top engineers are leaving and someone else knows a number of ASND's top engineers aren't leaving. Positive integers run 1,2, .. infinity. Both of these statements can be true! Every merger gives some guys the chance to cash out options, or bail, and others a chance to cosy up to the acquirer. It is impossible to predict what will happen -- because people are individuals and culture differs between any two corps however friendly. I had guys who worked perfectly for years with our subcontractors Burroughs, DEC, and TI, but no one ever split to them and when "the evil ones" broke up our shop none joined them, and we never hired anyone from our subcontractors.
I want Jach and Reddy on this thread. I value their contributions, especially because they are technical and not some dumb broker whistling in the dark past the cemetery of dead bulls. I want to know the threats to this great company. I haven't heard any from the pro-side, and don't expect to.
It would be nice if we could snarl and snap like regular sob's instead of making patently ridiculous statements. Let's hear it from the Big Toe if it has something interesting to say.
