I disagree!
It took me a long time to find the channels. When I did it was at the proper point in my education regarding daytrading. I was able to sit on my hands and watch them for 90 days, the goal I set, before I made any trades based on the info I found there. In the process I saw a 70% turnover rate. And the ones leaving were not going to live on a Pacific Isle. Suicides, divorce, and total dispair are not uncommon.

I completely agree that the intent of your forum is VERY important and useful. #daytraders has some excellent traders that anyone can learn from. And should be included in anyone's education regarding daytrading. WallStrArb's ongoing Imon coverage is better than anything you could find in the WSJ, CNBC, IBD or on SI. The excerpts should go in a required reading book, 'The Anatomy of a Short Squeeze'. But how is a newbie too discern that with all the hype associated with the channel.

I, too, would like to see evaluations of the other channel's. I have seen some that were a complete scam. Fortunatley they don't last long. I am looking at Polar's service. I just started monitoring Pristine and #bastages. I will say Pristines calls have been good so far and the ongoing education from the staff is first class. #bastages also appears to have some great traders! Both have a lot less channel noise. Very different from #daytraders. But then #daytraders is the largest chat room in the world. 1200 people every day. Some game rooms have run as high as 5000, but not on a day in day out basis. I am glad I learned there. But would not advise it to anyone.
BWDIK :)
