Shopping lists, holdings now, and chit chat.

That bit about INCY, PE and choppy
markets echos my thoughts about owning
microcap for value, and working on a
shopping list for future buying ops.

Although I'm two thirds cash when I total
up savings...the third in the market is
microcap. I thought I'd post my percentages
in each idea right now--the spike in TGEN
was a trading op I think, so that is off
the list at the moment...and the critter
was only a few percent of my portfolio
anyway.**

35% CytoTheraputics, ctii
25% Cambridge NeuroSciences, cnsi
15% Neurobiological Technologies, ntii
10% Biotransplant, btrn
5% Ariad Pharmaceuticals, aria
3% Sibia Neurosciences, sibi
1% Viragen, vrgn

+10% more cash in the trading account too--
you will note I sold xoma and ctic, they just
seemed to fizzle out, and since I do this in
an ira, I dont worry about taking the gains
and over-trading. I'm re-evaluating ctic now.

Here is what is on the shopping list right now
in the way of larger cap biotech--with sepr there,
I thought I'd post this response to you RCMac--
and ask what else you might add. (I wont go into
micro/smallest cap shopping list right now)

Sepracor, Chiron, Immunex, Hambrecht and Quist
Life Sciences Fund--HQL -or- Janus Global Life
Sciences Fund--JAGLX.

By the way, I do think about investments besides
biotech/health...but I still am not willing to
take the plunge into soybeans--I do trade in and
out of a sector funds a couple times a year, was
in gold a month last year, and a utilities fund
once or twice...

...insomnia tonight...that's the reason for
the late nite post:-)

**happened to have my tgen trades this past year
as a text file on my desktop...so I cant resist
showing off...how is this for lucky?

05/07/98 I Bought TGEN 3000 1 23/32
05/18/98 I Sold TGEN 3000 3 7/32
11/10/98 I Bought TGEN 1000 1 3/4
01/19/99 I Sold TGEN 1000 2 1/2

hmmm, I'd thought I'd bot that last batch at 1.5, oh well,
still a sweet trade! (now it will really take off without me)
