CNBC just announced that CPQ IS in fact spinning off Alta Vista, which will likely be offered as an IPO. They hope to raise approximately $2 Billion with the offering. All per CNBC at about 630am. Naturally, CNBC is hardly mentioning it... this isn't news is it? hehe... jeez.. oh, but their "dose of wake up with jay" gets top billing... Baz
