Signal Technology Keltec Division Awarded $2.2 Million Power-Supply Contracts

DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1999--Signal Technology Corp. (AMEX:STZ) Tuesday announced that it has received two contracts totaling $2.2 million to manufacture power supplies for radar warning and jamming systems.

Option quantities expected to be exercised in 60 days could bring the value of the contracts to more than $3 million. Signal Technology's Keltec Division in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., will manufacture and test these power supplies in 1999.

"This win underscores Keltec's long-term focus on becoming a leader in the airborne, high-volume power supply business segment," said Keltec Division President John Cotumaccio.

Signal Technology designs and produces sophisticated, state-of-the-art electronic components and systems for a variety of defense, space and communication applications, including communications networks, satellite communications, electronic countermeasures, intelligence and guidance systems.
